Summer Glau

 Glau's first television appearance was as a ballerina in a guest role in a 2002 episode on the show Angel. There she caught the eye of director Joss Whedon, who then was cast in his critically acclaimed but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised for the show's feature film sequel Serenity. Glau had previously tried to audition for the role of the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but lost to the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau was in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She played Shelly, the high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season 2 of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner who was a paranoid schizophrenic returning character during the season two premiere of The 4400, and became a recurring character from season three onwards. Glau also appeared on Mammoth, a horror-comedy. Glau was cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a show which debuted on January 13, 2008, Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" was a scene that featured Glau acting as Cameron was seen dancing in ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau also guest starred in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, which is a CBS comedy series that is a situation comedy.
