Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. Her childhood was filled having big hopes. Her most memorable roles include the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and the drama Precious. The majority of her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her mother loved films and instilled a love of films into her daughter. Paula participated in co-curricular activities at school and loved drama. She loved to play act with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school plays. The student decided to be an actor. As a student in a summer camp at the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She received a 3-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. Her first job was as a production assist for TV documentaries after successfully completing her assignment. She then moved to produce documentaries. However, she had always wanted to work as an actress although she was content with her current job. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a small part alongside Will Smith. Her roles have since been seen in numerous films as well as TV shows.
